The Department of Small Business Development (DSBD) and its agency Small Enterprise Development Agency( Seda) in partnership with Makana Local Municipality handed over tools and equipment to 105 SMMEs and Informal traders on 08 August 2023 in Makhanda , Sarah Baartman District Municipality Eastern Cape as part of Informal Micro Enterprise Development Programme (IMEDP). The ceremony was led  by Deputy Minister of Small Business Development, Dipuo Peters and Mayor Yandiswa Vara and Sarah Baartman District Municipality Executive Mayor Deon De Vos
