Department of Small Business Development invests over R5 million to reignite Moses Kotane local economy Deputy Minister of Small Business Development Ms Nokuzola Capa and His Worship, Mayor of Moses Kotane Local Municipality Cllr Ralesole Diale will on Thursday, 12th November 2020 officially unveil an Investment Infrastructure programme valued over R5 Million in Mogwase.

The Department of Small Business Development through its Shared Economic Infrastructure Fund (SEIF) has partnered with Moses Kotane Local Municipality to construct 33 Market stalls for informal traders in Mogwase. The Deputy Minister together with the Mayor will officially hand them over as government endeavours to support and empower micro and informal enterprises based in villages and townships.

The handover ceremony is expected to be attended by local traders, community members, and business forums as well as members of the media. The market stalls will be used by local informal business owners operating enterprises such as Hair salons, Fruits & Vegetable vendors, Motor-Mechanics, Cooked food outlets and many others.
