The Deputy Minister for Small Business Development, Ms Dipuo Peters handed over working tools and equipment to informal traders and SMMEs in Brits, Madibeng Local Municipality earlier today.

During the handover ceremony, Deputy Minister Peters was joined by the Mayor of Madibeng Local Municipality, Mr Douglas Maimane and other members of the Mayoral Committee, Acting District Mayor of Bojanala Platinum District Municipality, Ms Virginia Tlhapi, Seda North West Provincial Manager, Mr Sabelo Ntshangase.

The beneficiaries are part of the Informal and Micro Enterprise Development Programme (IMEDP), an instrument of National Informal Business Upliftment Strategy( NIBUS) which aims to uplift informal traders and SMMEs.
