The Department of Small Business Development (DSBD) and it's agencies, Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) and Small Enterprise Finance Agency (sefa) is participating at the Inaugural Re-Branding Spaza Shop Indaba held at the Station Urban Events Centre, eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal province. The event is graced by the attendance of the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Ms Nomusa Dube-Ncube, Acting Director-General of the DSBD, Ms Thulisile Manzini, Mr Bheki Twala, the Founder and President of Township Economic Commission SA, Ms Esayvanie Reddy, Chief Executive Officer of KZN Oils, amongst others.

The event is focusing on digitizing spaza shops and township economies, paving the way for innovative opportunities and sustainable growth.
