The Department of Small Business Development (DSBD) and Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) are participating at the Mantsopa Local Municipality's Local Economic Development (LED) Summit at Ladybrand Town Hall, Free State province. 

As part of the build-up to the summit, The Flea market was hosted where SMMEs showcased their products.
The purpose of the summit is to set a platform of engagement and growth for different SMMEs (Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises) located in the whole of Mantsopa Local Municipality.

The stakeholders such as Suzuki, Seda, Nedbank, ABSA shared information on funding opportunities .
The Municipality, stakeholders and businesses engaged in matters of infrastructure and economic development, and accentuated how SMMEs and businesses can contribute to the sustainability of the economy around them.
