14-10-2024: The Minister for Small Business Development, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams is leading a host of government dignitaries participating in the two day Saudi-South African Business Forum in Sandton City, Johannesburg.
The event marks a cementation of business collaborations and exploring of trade agreements in various industrial sectors between the two nations

12-10-2024: The Department of Small Business Development (DSBD) is participating at the Kasi Business Workshop and Exhibition held in Mokopane, Limpopo.  
The event , which is hosted by TEA - Township Entrepreneur's Alliance will explore practical strategies to assist women grow their businesses, access opportunities and overcome challenges unique to their entrepreneurial journey.
This workshop further aims to provide valuable insights and tools to drive entrepreneurial success .

11-10-2024: The Minister for Small Business Development, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams is at the Spanish Embassy to commemorate 532 year of the Spanish National Day as known as the Dia de la Hispanidad.

This day actually celebrate legendary Spanish explorer, Christopher Columbus' arrival in the Americas from Spain.
Ndabeni-Abrahams will deliver a congratulatory message from the people of South Africa to the Spanish citizens for the milestone.

10-10-2024: The Ministerial duo at (DSBD), Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams and Jane Sithole are again joined in hip as they land in Tzeneen, Limpopo.

Their working visit forms part of the widened  Asset Assist Programme(AAP), Co-operatives Development Support Programme (CDSP) and Informal and Micro Enterprise Development Programme (IMEDP) which empowers MSMEs and other micro enterprises with business machinery and much sought-after soft (management, operations, advice)skills.

10-10-2014: Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams and Deputy Minister Jane Sithole handing over (dummy) cheques to beneficiaries of Asset Assist Programme (APP) and Cooperative Support Development Programme (CSDP).

08-10-2024: The DSBD Ministerial Executive Committee (Min Exco) convened to deliberate on critical strategic matters aimed at driving the department's objectives forward. 

The meeting focused on reviewing and approving key initiatives that will enhance the department's capacity to support small enterprises fostering economic growth and development across the country. 

These discussions are part of ongoing efforts to align the department’s strategies with national priorities, ensuring a tangible impact on entrepreneurship and job creation.

07-10-2024: The Deputy Minister for Small Business Development, Ms Jane Sithole is delivering a keynote address during the 10th Anniversary  Township Economy Summit held in SUD restaurant, Vilakazi Street, Soweto, Gauteng province. 

The summit aims to bring a positive impact by unpacking community growth through boosting investor confidence and establishing involvement capacity within communities.
It also aims to address post COVID-19 challenges that are towards economic recovery, worker empowerment and new business creation.

06-10-2024: The Department of Small Business Development is participating in the 2024 Big Walk organized in conjuction with the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, under the theme "Walk for your health." This event is held at the Fleur Park in Pretoria, Gauteng Province.

The Big Walk 2024 coincides with World Walking Day, an initiative of The Association for International Sport for All (TAFISA) to promote inclusive physical activity through a 24-hour walking relay around the globe.

02-10-2024: The Minister for Small Business Development, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, Minister in the Presidency responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Ms Maropene Ramokgopa; the Minister of  Public Works and Infrastructure,Mr Dean Macpherson; the Deputy Minister of Finance, Dr David Masondo and the Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, Mr Andrew Whitfield participating in panel discussions, as part of the South Africa Investment Week, hosted by JP Morgan in London, United Kingdom.

01-10-2024: Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams is attending South Africa Investor Day at the London Stock Exchange. Deputy President, Paul Mashatile is leading the South African delegation in engagements to deepen trade investment and partnerships between South Africa and the United Kingdom. Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams will participate in a panel discussion," The role of small business in the economy."
